Growing into Faith
This journey is life long. I was raised in church, but I didn't get serious about my faith until high school. I didn't start being read by the Bible until seminary. I didn't really understand what God is doing until...well, that is still in progress.
Your journey, life long, is yours. Journeys can be more meaningful when; shared, when reflected on, when leaned into. Perhaps our journeys will coincide for; a season, a moment, in conversation, or consolation, as a revelation, and a celebration.
Joy of Silliness
Faith is serious work...and it is silly. I cannot reason someone to a relationship with God, but there sure is a potential for joy in the process. I enourage all of us to be authentically who we are. I learned this lesson from working with young kids. They can tell things about us that we are trying to conceal. So, I am one who is depressed and I am one who is silly. I play and I retreat from the world. I dream big and don't ever fully reach the stars.
Ultimately, as God pointed out, it's all good.
